mission
yoga school focused on providing high quality yoga teaching in a way that facilitates a genuine life transformative process, at an affordable and realistic cost.

vision
preservation and continuity of traditional yoga, applicable to everyday life in the 21st century, with all its particularities and nuances.
development of authenticity, wisdom, and autonomy; becoming more of yourself and less of an idea or projection of others (partners, friends, parents, society, etc.)
a more detailed and mindful perception of life.
development of maturity and of an active role in achieving clarity amidst many ideological lenses we're constantly bombed with.
community and peer support.
opposition to all forms of oppression and the facilitation of inclusive spaces.
economic justice, recognizing that access is not equal for everyone, which is why mechanisms are implemented to expand access.
support for refining self-awareness while deepening social, racial, gender, class, environmental, and historical awareness, countering the trend of alienation in some spiritual spaces.
contextualization - whether of the teachings, the times in which this technology is lived and applied, or one's individual life path - so that yoga can be truly meaningful remaining alive and with momentum.

about
Vivian Cunha
My own yoga journey began in 2012, in a place of questioning. While building a career in law, I felt a growing disconnect between the life I was living and the values I held dear. Yoga became my compass, a quiet guide that helped me navigate my inner conflicts and find my way back to myself.
This path of self-discovery led me to Australia in 2017, where I immersed myself fully in the study and practice of Yoga, completing a Certificate IV in Yoga Teaching (800 hours). My initial goal wasn’t to teach, but simply to listen more closely to my own heart. I was humbled when the school's founder invited me to share what I was learning, and since 2017, I have dedicated my life to guiding others through classes, retreats, and trainings.
As a dedicated lifelong student, I have devoted thousands of hours to the continuous study of yoga. My training spans from physical and subtle practices like Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative, to the deep wisdom of the Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, and Vedic Chanting. Building on a strong foundation in yoga's application for trauma, mental health, and Ayurveda, I am now furthering my expertise in Yoga Therapy.
My teaching is deeply rooted in the Desikachar and Krishnamacharya lineage, honoring yoga as a profound tool for transformation. It is from this place of continuous learning and heartfelt practice that I am deeply grateful to my many teachers, and that I invite you to join me.
